3 Lower Park Road, Loughton, IG10 4NB. ( 020 8502 5981

I have lived in Loughton since 1992 and have been a Town Councillor since 2004. In 2008 I was elected to the Epping Forest District Council to represent Alderton Ward. My connection with the ward goes back to my association with Alderton Junior School where I was a teacher for several years.
I am particularly interested in issues concerning children and young people and improving facilities and opportunities for them in the town.
I have worked at the National Portrait Gallery since 2002 and my hobbies include swimming and cycling.

I was born in Walthamstow in 1946 and left there when I was twenty to move to Newbury Park, Ilford. I am a farrier by trade, but once qualified I joined the London Fire Brigade and remained there for 18 years, after which I went back to farriery. I now work part-time.
I am married and have one son, an army officer, and a daughter who is a beautician. My wife owned an insurance brokerage in Loughton. We have five grandchildren - two boys and three girls.
I have lived in Upshire since 1976.

Cllr Rod Law

+ Cllr Rod Law   (British National Party)
59 Barfields, Loughton, IG10 3JH. ( 020 8508 1056

Born in Epping I have lived in Loughton for over thirty years with my wife and have four kids. I am extremely proud to represent the residents on both Town and District levels. My major concerns are policing, the behaviour of various groups within the district, and the preservation of the identity of Loughton.
I like working with people of various backgrounds, and enjoy the challenges that council work brings. My work takes me all over London, and helps reflect my decisions locally.
