Loughton Residents Association
I have been a resident of Forest Ward for nearly 40 years, moving
here with my wife and young family to enjoy a rural lifestyle away from the
urban environment of London. My two children went to local schools and
are now grown up.
I am a Construction Engineer by profession, now retired having worked for major construction companies, as a Construction Manager, delivering a wide variety of projects from school buildings, bank refurbishments, Met Police Safer Neighbourhood bases, railway station infrastructure, office and hospital refurbishments.
With this background I am serving on the LTC Planning and Licensing Committee with a keen interest in maintaining Loughton's rural environment, the open green spaces and minimize the impact on our surrounding forest.
I have recently become a Director of Lopping Hall, helping to look after the building and also a member of Loughton Club.
I enjoy walking in Epping Forest and a round of golf at High Beech.
