New Town Mayor 2024

We are delighted to announce that, following the Annual Council meeting held on 15 May, and the subsequent Extraordinary Council meeting held on 29 May 2024, Cllr Katie Valentine was elected as the Loughton Town Mayor and Cllr Les House elected as Deputy Town Mayor for 2024/25.

Lighting of Loughton's Beacon for the D-Day Landings 80th Anniversary

Once again Loughton Town Council was honoured to host the lighting of the Beacon at the top of Hillyfields Open Space to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the D-Day Landings. Loughton Town Council was extremely proud to take part in this national tribute in which over 1,500 beacons were lit across the length and breadth of the country and overseas

Play in the Park Spring Sessions

Free organised activities and games will be provided between 10:00 and 12:00 at Roding Valley Recreation Ground on Friday, 5 April and at Jessel Green on Friday, 12 April. All ages welcome.
