Loughton, one of the largest town councils in Essex, is a very active council that provides a wide range of services to the local community.


OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR


Full time post, 36 hours a week. Salary range starting at Spinal Column Point (SCP) 13- currently £28,163, rising annually to SCP 15 £29,903, plus Inner Fringe London Weighting Allowance (currently £1,013). National salary increase pending.

This is a diverse and interesting role, principally to: 

 

  • assist the Services Manager in managing all opens spaces areas and activities within the remit of Loughton Town Council (LTC)
  • assist the Deputy Town Clerk in organising and coordinating LTC community events
  • work in liaison with the Services Manager on health and safety requirements, including risk assessments of LTC properties and activities
  • maintain records and paperwork (up to date) for all activities
  • learn and assist the Cemetery Clerk in all aspects of cemetery administration

 

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate flexibility.  In-house training will be provided.
