Loughton Day 2020 - CANCELLED

CANCELLATION OF LOUGHTON DAY 19.9.20

Loughton Town Council has regrettably (but sensibly in the circumstances) agreed to cancel the ‘Loughton Day’ community event scheduled for Saturday 19^th September 2020 at the Loughton Cricket Ground.

This decision has been delayed for as long as possible and has not been taken lightly.

There are too many uncertainties with inadequate time to organise and no lift on the restrictions of public gatherings currently. We do not wish to put Loughton residents at potential risk.

We think Loughton Day should be as good at it can be, rather than a scaled down and inferior event. Loughton 'Celebration' Day (hopefully) in 2021 will be more fitting and we have already pencilled in Saturday 18^th September 2021.
