Loughton Wombles update

A massive difference was made in the sections covered and it was so rewarding to see all these areas become litter free zones.  The feedback from the group was incredibly positive, Everyone who took part thought it was a very sociable experience, meeting new people and making like-minded friends, with the added benefit of fresh air and healthy exercise.  After positive feedback from the local community, we are looking forward to holding regular litter picks. 

We wish to encourage more people to volunteer to become a ‘Loughton Wombles’ to unite and take on this problem. Loughton Town Council will provide basic materials such as litter pickers, gloves and ‘Hi Viz’ vests.
