We’re on the move!

The town council has packed its bags and is moving to new office space on the first floor of Loughton Library.

The office is currently closed for the move, which takes place on Monday and Tuesday 24^th and 25^th July, but we plan for normal services to resume on Wednesday morning at 9am. Our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause to our residents.

Our new office is located right alongside the Citizens Advice Bureau and we look forward to working with them and the library staff to create a new ‘community hub’ feel in the library. All council and committee meetings will in future be held in the library.

The council’s building at 1 Buckingham Court is to be rented out initially for a period of 3 years.

We are very grateful to Karen Prentice, Julia Trew and all the library staff who have made us so welcome.
